On-the-Street Services
We provide support to people struggling with homelessness with our international helpers providing a direct outreach to those need we focus on Ottawa, Canada, at this time, and coming soon in other regions.
Community Engagement
This program delivers groceries and other life essentials to families struggling economically.
Trainings/Workshops
Our expert trainers help educate community members to serve homeless people safely and effectively, along with providing team- building and community-building activities. We regularly train Street Care and Bright Mind members and other community members in NY.
Team Leaders
New York President Sridhar Shanmugam
Sridhar Shanmugam is the co-director of Street Care and Bright Mind’s New York teams. His creative skills and passion about community awareness have made him an essential part of Street Care and Bright Mind’s.
Sridhar has been working within the performance art field as an executive director and manager for decades. His expertise lies within administration & finance.
Sridhar is also an artist and performer himself. He has mastered various forms of art within Indian culture and wishes to
spread his knowledge across the globe.

New York Vice President Roopa Sridhar
Roopa is the co-director of Street Care and Bright Mind’s New York teams. Roopa is also the founder and president of Shri Navagraha Devasthanam of North America.
Roopa has a graduate degree in Botany and Zoology from Chennai, India. After graduating, Roopa started a career in pharmacy and social services which she continued after moving to the US in early 2000s.

Colm Keegan, Senior Consultant, Product Marketing at Dell Technologies
Colm brings invaluable expertise to Bright Mind and Street Care. He has played a key role in growing our New York City area outreach and, in April 2026, launched our Central Florida chapter. With more than 25 years of experience in IT, enterprise sales, and analysis, Colm is passionate about supporting our mission.
Colm has specialized knowledge in data protection, cyber resiliency, and hybrid cloud solutions. As a Senior Consultant at Dell Technologies, he is skilled at simplifying complex IT systems.
Colm also contributes through his strong community network.
