On-the-Street Services
Our Central Florida Chapter provides a Street Care direct outreach program for people experiencing homelessness and has supported individuals through numerous Street Care Days of Action. By mobilizing on the ground in neighborhood spaces, our dedicated teams set up vital distribution points to deliver essential supplies and face-to-face support. This grassroots approach allows us to meet individuals where they are, combining hands-on field action with deep community care to bring immediate help and hope to people in greatest need.
Community Engagement
This program delivers groceries and other life essentials to families struggling economically.
Trainings/Workshops
Our expert trainers help educate community members to serve homeless people safely and effectively, along with providing team-building and community-building activities. We regularly train Street Care and Bright Mind’s members and other community members in Central Florida.
Team Leader
Colm Keegan
Colm Keegan serves as the Central Florida Chapter Leader for Bright Mind and Street Care, where he helps organize outreach efforts, coordinate volunteer engagement, and strengthen connections with individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship.
In addition to his work with Bright Mind, Colm has a strong interest in supporting individuals navigating addiction recovery and life transition challenges, including collaboration with recovery and rehabilitation communities. He believes that lasting change often begins with dignity, consistency, and authentic personal connection.
Professionally, Colm brings more than 25 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise sales, and strategic advisory work. He also contributes to Bright Mind through a broad community network and a deep commitment to service-oriented leadership.
